Laverstock residents soak up the sea air
A good old-fashioned trip to the seaside proved to be just the tonic for the residents of Laverstock Care Centre this week.
Mudeford Beach was their destination of choice, a sandy beach adjoining Hengistbury Head famed for its residential beach huts. With picturesque views across Christchurch Harbour, the beach proved to be a popular spot with the group. They enjoyed eating their chips and ice cream whilst soaking up the fresh sea air.
Situated on the outskirts of Salisbury, Laverstock Care Centre is a purpose-built home that provides residential, nursing and dementia care for up to 80 elderly ladies and gentlemen.
