Laverstock Residents Staying Fit
Laverstock Care Centre has teamed up with local Parkwood Health & Fitness in Salisbury to offer residents something extra. Residents can benefit from a free day trial pass to experience what Parkwood has to offer and if they like the experience they can make use of the facility through the Homes’ membership.
Pool
The Parkwood pool and spa area offers Laverstock residents a place to revitalise and refresh, with the use of a 20m pool, sauna, steam room and jacuzzi. A healthy mind and body are crucial and a place to relax and unwind to restore and replenish both body and mind is just the thing! There are also water fitness classes available which provides good exercise with minimal impact to the body.
Spa
The Parkwood Aveda Salon & Spa offers a range of treatments if you wish to treat yourself or loved ones to some extra special pampering. In between treatments, you can relax in the pool or soak yourself in the jacuzzi and steam room.
Bar
The Wood Bar at Parkwood was refurbished this year and offers a menu specifically designed to help you refuel and replenish your body. It provides a relaxing space to go to with friends or family as an alternative to the social spaces within Laverstock, if you fancied a change of scene.
Gym
Parkwood has a state-of-the-art gym designed with their members in mind. It offers treadmills, steppers, rowers, bikes and urgo’s. As well as free weights, plate loaded resistance and fixed resistance machines. Many pieces of equipment are connected to wi-fi with interactive TV’s built in.
