Little Visitors at Brooklyn House

12th September 2019

Brooklyn House Nursing Home in Attleborough had some ‘Little Visitors’ who popped into the home for a visit. The scheme is a charity run by Friend In Deed and founded by a lady called Kelly, and local solicitors Rogers & Norton have kindly sponsored the home to be a part of it. The idea behind the initiative is to promote kindness in the community and it is a great chance for varying generations to spend time together.

Our first session on Monday was a great success and feedback from everyone was very positive. Three solicitors from Rogers and Norton attended and the residents responded really well. Home Manager Ovi said “We will have these wonderful people around us every Monday for 6 months. I think it is great we manage to do this as an extra activity to fill our residents with moments of happiness.”

The residents can’t wait for next Monday and to follow the development of the tots and babies.

Brooklyn House Care Home is a purpose-built home in Norfolk providing nursing care for up to 38 elderly residents.
