Mad Hatter's Tea Party at Horsell Lodge

Just how much fun can a Mad Hatter's Tea Party be? Very fun if you reside at Horsell Lodge care home.

All the team and residents enjoyed themselves this afternoon at the tea party, and were involved in the preparations to make the afternoon a great success. From sourcing crockery and props, to making decorations, arranging flowers and making a hand-made clock, giving residents the chance to get involved with things they love to do.

There was a lovely party atmosphere and a feast for the senses with cleverly and artistically prepared foods which were in-keeping with the theme, all prepared by the Head Chef Matthew Sharp and his dedicated team.

The team got dressed up for the occasion and with the residents enjoyed a brief shot at croquet in the lovely landscaped gardens, giving them a chance to enjoy the glorious weather.

The home would like to say a huge thank you to all those who were involved and made the residents smile, including donations from the local community of Alice in Wonderland themed decorations amongst other things.
