Magic afternoon at Mellish House
The residents and staff of Mellish House took part in a fun and entertaining magic show earlier this week. Local magician Paul Pleasant captivated his audience with his sleight of hand and array of tricks.
The show was just one of a wide range of activities which form part of the recently launched Caring Homes ‘Living’ programme. The new initiative is a structured activities programme based around a ‘five a day’ approach of providing activities that always meet either social, emotional, cognitive, sensory or physical needs as part of the holistic programme of care delivered at the home.
Situated in the quiet village of Great Cornard, Mellish House is a purpose built home providing residential care for up to 48 elderly people living with a form of dementia.
