Mellish celebrate Christmas
23rd December 2016
Residents from Mellish House, in Sudbury, enjoyed a Christmas party with live music facilitated by Paul Pleasants.Paul is a regular visitor to Mellish House and is a huge hit with the residents. He thoroughly entertained residents, families and the care team with a fabulous mix of songs and a heart-warming Christmas medley. Some of the residents were up dancing and singing along to the songs they remembered, making the most of the party atmosphere.Even Santa Claus made an appearance to the Christmas party with presents for each of the residents, he slowly made his away around the crowds to hand out the presents and spend time with each resident. Party snacks and refreshments were laid on by our chef for everyone to eat over the afternoon.Resident Hilda E commented “This has been the best party and I wasn’t even expecting a present and from Santa himself!”[gallery columns="4" link="file" ids="17265,17262,17263,17264,17266,17267,17268"]Mellish House provides specialist dementia care in a purpose built environment for up to 48 elderly people in Sudbury. If you would like to find out more about life at Mellish House and the care we offer, or to request a meeting with our Home Manager, please contact us on 0808 223 5523 or [email protected]
