Mellish celebrate the Euros 2021

Mellish House residents in Sudbury resounded to many cheers of 'Come on England!' during UEFA Euro Cup 2020! Nearly all the residents at Mellish House got involved in the Euro cup games cheering England on until the end. England flags were hung up around the home and given to everyone to wave around whilst we watched some of the games.

But we didn't just sit and watch the games, residents got involved in a little bit of their own goal scoring with some pop-up goals and soft footballs. They could throw or kick them into the goals, whilst England football music played in the background. It was a very energetic afternoon.

At the end they were all paid better than real footballers, but with chocolate coins.
