Mellish residents enjoy outings

Residents at Mellish House Care Home in Sudbury have been enjoying safe outings since lockdown has been lifted.

Being able to go on outings now and enjoy the sunshine with the care team has really lifted spirits. Residents have enjoyed various trips to scenic spots close by and enjoyed tea, cakes, ice cream and fish and chips whilst out.

Being under lockdown has been difficult for us all, and made us realise those simple things that we enjoy and miss. Some residents responded saying things such as "Wow this is beautiful, I haven't been out in ages."

We look forward to plenty more trips out!
