Melvyn Celebrates his 74th at Hillside

Hillside Residential Home in Sudbury, enjoy celebrating birthdays with the residents, and this month is no different.This month Melvyn turned 74 years old, he spent the morning with the other residents being spoilt with cards, a birthday cake baked by our chef, and a rendition of Happy Birthday.Melvyn had made a birthday wish to visit the local pub so both he and Ernest, one if his friends from Hillside, went to The Five Bells to celebrate Melvyn’s Birthday with assistance from Stacy a Senior Carer and Shaun one of our Carers.As a residential home it is important to our residents that they continue with a lifestyle that they have become accustomed to. Our highly skilled carers take the time to get to know all of our residents, learning their personal history, preferences, routines, hobbies and interests.
