Museum of music for Mellish House

The residents from Mellish House in Sudbury enjoyed a trip to the local museum of music for the day.The residents and care team traveled in the mini bus to the museum of music in Brent Eleigh, a trip with the men at Mellish in mind. Glenda, activities coordinator at Mellish House said, "As we have quite a few male residents l'm always looking for trips that would be of interest to them." This was a special trip as it was combiuned with Jocks 85th birthday celebrations, he can be seen cutting the cake at the museum with his family.This museum has been built up by volunteers who have collected all-sorts of radio's, televisions, radiograms and objects relating to the subject over the years which provided many topics of conversation around how technology has changed.We were joined by friends and family and Paul Pleasants a regular musical entertainer at Mellish House played his guitar and sang.
