Musical Moments at Whittington House

Residents at Whittington House Nursing Home in Cheltenham were delighted to welcome Rosie from Musical Moments to our home on Monday 8th January.Rosie brought with her a variety of musical instruments to provide an interactive and stimulating activity to boost the health and well-being of our residents and mostly for us to have a great time by bringing us together for lots of fun and laughter.Rosie involved everyone in the group, no matter what their ability, through the use of interactive music, singing and movement and our residents really enjoyed their time with her.There was lots of hand waving, foot tapping and clapping along.
Lyndsey Dixon, Home Manager commented:"There was a really positive energy in the air, difference of mood and well-being after this session. So much that we received comments such “I feel happier for the experience.”Our residents and team really enjoyed their time with Rosie and had an enjoyable and memorable experience; which after all is what we wanted to achieve."
