National Pizza Day at Horsell Lodge

Earlier in the month residents at Horsell Lodge Care Home marked National Pizza Day by making their own tasty pizzas for all to enjoy.

Everyone got the chance to get creative with their pizza shapes with the dough being rolled out and cut into various designs including stars and hearts which were apt for this month. The residents then got the opportunity to top their pizzas with a range of toppings including fresh veggies, cheese and meats, depending on what they fancied. Both the residents and team enjoyed eating their creations, and the home smelt delicious for the rest of the afternoon.

Residents at the home love to get involved in cooking and baking, which are great activities for our residents to express their creative side whilst also being good for joint mobility as well.
