New Mayor joins in the fun at Brooklyn House Summer fete
New Mayor Edd Wright was among many members of the local community who joined residents and staff of Brooklyn House to support the event at the purpose built care home.
Activities on the day included the tombola, cake and produce stalls, local firefighters, children’s games a barbeque and the ever-popular stocks.
Brooklyn House Manager, Sarah Taylor told us:
'Everyone has had a great time today! It is always wonderful when the community comes together to support these events – it is important to our residents that they remain an active part of the wider community.
I would like to thank all of our staff for their hard work in organising the day and everyone who attended including our new Mayor Edd Wright. We are so pleased that the day was once again a huge success!’
Located at the heart of Attleborough, Brooklyn House provides residential and specialist nursing care for up to 40 people. The home is run by family-owned Caring Homes Group, which was founded in 1994 by mother and son team, Helena and Paul Jeffery.
