Next stop, Hollywood!
For the recent Caring Homes conference, the company’s Chief Executive Paul Jeffery had asked for staff, resident and relative volunteers to take part in a special video that he would use as part of his keynote presentation.
Brooklyn House resident, Mrs. Jean Flint was one of the select group who made the final video, much to the delight of her family and fellow residents.
Jean has been a resident at Brooklyn House for nearly five years and during filming, remarked that her years at the Norfolk home have been very happy and it really feels like home. She explained that she enjoyed her experience in front of the camera:
‘On the day of filming I was a little nervous, but the cameraman was extremely patient and made me feel at ease. Once I got my confidence, I found it an enjoyable experience and would do it again.
After my ‘Hollywood’ experience, my son in law presented me with my own Oscar, which everyone at Brooklyn House found extremely amusing!’
Situated at the heart of the attractive market town of Attleborough, Brooklyn House is a modern, purpose-built care home providing high quality nursing care for up to 40 elderly people.
