Parris Lawn Care Home were delighted to welcome farm owner Beck and her furry friend, Bloom the Sheep, of 'Pet Pals Therapy' for an afternoon filled of laughter and smiles.
The power of Pet Pal Therapy is truly remarkable, offering our residents a myriad of benefits. From lowering heart rate to promoting increased socialisation, the positive impact on the overall wellbeing of our residents is evident.
The heartwarming encounter created a bond between residents, the therapy pets and the dedicated team at the care home in Lewes. We extend our sincere gratitude to Beck and Bloom for their delightful visit.

Betty asked Beck how many jumpers would be made from Bloom’s wool and was amazed that the answer was 4, but Dilly reminded her that you only need one at a time though!
Neville, who was a farmer in his day, couldn’t believe there was a live sheep visiting his room. He begun reminiscing about the good old days and the fun of mucking out!
