Planting Party at Brooklyn House
Friends and relatives were invited to join the residents of Brooklyn House this week for a fun-filled afternoon and tea party with a twist.
The willing guests were made to work for their tea and cake as they put on their gardening gloves and helped the staff and residents to plant tomato seeds and flowers for the hanging baskets, in preparation for the summer months.
Despite some typical British weather, everyone enjoyed themselves and following the hard work, the tea and cake topped the afternoon off beautifully.
Brooklyn House is a modern, purpose-built care home in Norfolk with nursing for up to 40 elderly people. Following a recent investment programme, the home benefits from the most up-to-date facilities and décor.
