Platinum Jubilee Celebrations at Broadbridge Park
Everyone at Broadbridge Park Care Home celebrated the Platinum Jubilee last week with a wonderful BBQ in the sunshine. The home decorated for the occasion in the traditional red, white and blue. We put up flags and bunting to pay homage to Her Majesty.
All of the Broadbridge Park residents and staff got to spend some quality time in our wonderful gardens. As part of the celebrations we all enjoyed a tasty BBQ cooked by our catering team. It was a great opportunity for the residents to share stories and reminisce about their ‘royal’ experiences.
Earlier this year Her Majesty The Queen became the first British Monarch to celebrate a Platinum Jubilee. This marked her 70 years of service to the people of the United Kingdom, the Realms and the Commonwealth.
To celebrate this unprecedented anniversary, events have been taking place across the country over the four-day bank holiday weekend. We thoroughly enjoyed being part of those celebrations at Broadbridge Park.
