Pottering away at Homefield Grange
The residents at Homefield Grange Care Home have been enjoying potting some flowers in their raised flower beds that were donated to the home from a resident in the local community. Everyone is looking forward to seeing them bloom and grow over the coming months.
Growing flowers, fruit and vegetables is something that many people will have enjoyed over the years and for our residents this gives them an opportunity to exercise their green fingers. It also helps them to maintain independence and is perfect for getting some fresh air while sharing stimulating conversations with other residents while they work together.
