Sanford enjoy the Dereham carnival
22nd July 2016
Residents and the care team at Sanford House in Dereham, Norfolk, took a brief break from their home as they enjoyed the sun and the sights of the parade for the Dereham Carnival. This was the first carnival in the town for 20 years, and has proved very successful. The parade started at 11am at Greenfields Road in Dereham and snaked its way through to Station Road next to the Recreation Ground. The parade included floats from local businesses, organisations, and even the soldiers from the nearby barracks in Swanton Morley.Diane Harrison, activities organiser, said everyone really enjoyed themselves, and they are looking forward to next year when the home hopes to take part as everyone is able to enter to take part whether they are walking or in a vehicle.
