Sanford House residents say goodbye to Light Dragoons

The residents of Sanford House waved an emotional farewell to soldiers from the Light Dragoons recently, as the regiment left for pastures new.
The regiment had been based at the nearby Swanton Morley for 15 years and during their time there, had visited Sanford House on many occasions.
The soldiers had kindly helped with the home’s fundraising efforts several times and the residents were keen to be among the 400+ people who lined the streets to give them a fitting send off.
Sanford House is a modern purpose built home providing Nursing and Specialist Dementia care in Dereham for up to 40 elderly people.
