Sanford House residents soak up the sea air in Sheringham

29th July 2014

With the sun beating down all week and the residents in high spirits, the Sanford House staff team organised a trip to the popular seaside town of Sheringham this week.

The Norfolk town, famed for its fishing and farming, has a motto that reads ‘The sea enriches and the pine adorns’ – and so it proved as the residents and their relatives enjoyed soaking up the fresh sea air during a walk along the promenade.

Andrew Thomas observed that his father Nigel seemed particularly relaxed on the outing as everyone tucked into a traditional fish and chip lunch to round off a perfect day.

Located in the attractive market town of Dereham, Sanford House is a modern purpose built home providing nursing and dementia care for up to 40 elderly people.
