Santa visits Hillside
22nd December 2016
The residents and care team at Hillside in Sudbury enjoyed a Christmas Party this week on the run up to the big day.Santa Claus was a big surprise at the start of the day as he turned up to hand out presents to each of the residents. Once he had left the residents excitedly opened their gifts and showed each other what they had receive. It was great to watch them interacting with each other and it provided plenty of conversation. Who was the man behind the beard? The party was completed with an afternoon of festive quiz, mince pies and mulled wine. The quiz got the residents thinking about Christmas, everything from Christmas Carols to the history and traditions that they had all had over the years. Congratulations to the winners Norman and Joan! The residents reminisced listening to Christmas songs and answering the quiz questions. To complete the day we all watched 'Santa Claus the Movie', another classic that was enjoyed by all.Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night!Hillside provides residential care for up to 44 elderly people.
