Sing-a-long at Sanford House Nursing Home
The staff and residents at Sanford House Nursing Home in East Dereham didn't let the current situation stop them from having fun this weekend. As entertainers can't come to visit members of the team took the opportunity to step in instead!
The weekend began with the 'Beatle' stepping in for a spot of karaoke (we couldn’t find any others). Administrator Michael, in full Sgt Pepper attire, entertained the residents with classic songs from the Fab Four, from Love Me Do all the way to Let It Be. Staff and residents clapped along, and afterwards resident Paul said...
“You’ve no idea how much I enjoyed that.”
It is hoped the Beatle will return for another singalong soon.
At Sandford House we provide nursing and nursing dementia care for up to 40 elderly people and were rated ‘Good’ in our latest CQC report. We continuously improve the lives of our residents through offering wide ranging activities and events both in and outside of the home, involving members of the local community as often as possible.
