The entrance of the home underwent a magical transformation into a Haunted House, capturing the essence of the spooky season. The decorations, carefully curated by the dedicated Team, aimed to bring joy and a touch of thrill to both residents and visitors alike.

A highlight of this year's Halloween celebration was the enthusiastic participation of the Orchard Nursing Home team members, who embraced the opportunity to dress up in a myriad of spooky costumes. From classic monsters to whimsical characters, the Team added an extra layer of fun and excitement to the event. Their commitment to creating a lively atmosphere was evident in the smiles and laughter that echoed throughout the home.
Residents as Spectators
For those residents who preferred to stay warm indoors, from the cosy vantage point, could observe the delightful chaos unfolding outside with children in creative costumes, team members in spooky attire, and the Haunted House providing a perfect backdrop. The excitement was tangible, and the residents relished the opportunity to witness the Halloween enjoyment from the comfort of their home.
The home’s lifestyle lead, Vicky, said, “I had so much fun planning and organising this event for all to enjoy. It was rewarding to see everyone getting into the spirit of dressing up and having fun.”
