Summer Sun Competition Winners at Horsell Lodge
The residents and team at Horsell Lodge Care Home received some wonderful entries from children in the local community for their Summer Sun competition and the winners have been chosen. The competition gave children in the local community the opportunity to paint / decorate something for the garden at the home to bring some colour, fun and new talking points for the residents to enjoy, anything from flower pots, to rocks, pin wheels and much more.
Following a number of creative entries the Stillwell Family stole the show with their three wonderful flower pots being chosen by our residents and deserving a hamper which the residents helped to put together. It saw intergenerational mixing at its best with the residents interacting and laughing with the children from a distance. Residents Bea and Joyce and Home Manager Dacre were delighted to present the hampers to the excited children.
