The gardening gloves are on at Benson House
The residents at Benson House Care Home have decided to get their gardening gloves on and have some fun in the garden. They have started potting a range of plants and bulbs to go into the landscaped gardens at the home so that they can watch them grow and enjoy them over the summer months.
Growing flowers, fruit and vegetables is something that many people will have enjoyed over the years and for our residents this gives them an opportunity to exercise their green fingers. It also helps them to maintain independence and is perfect for getting some fresh air while sharing stimulating conversations with other residents while they work together.
