The Orchard Nursing Home embraces Halloween
The Orchard Nursing home embraced the spooky season this October. A Halloween party was held for the residents, which included some spooky themed nibbles, such as scary cupcakes. The residents donned witches’ hats, and the staff went all out with Halloween jumpers and all.
In the afternoon we created a haunted reception foyer where we left sweets and fruit for the trick or treaters, and it was the perfect place to display the pumpkins we had carved with the residents. We would like to thank all the children that came along and made an effort to dress up, everyone looked fantastic.
The day was finished off with a Halloween quiz, where we put the resident’s knowledge to the test and a disco with a glass of wine. Everyone had a great time and look forward to our next events.
