The Orchard travel the Globe with the 'Our World' research project

At The Orchard Nursing Home in St Albans yesterday, Vicky and the health and wellbeing team started a trip around the world with our residents in the ‘Our World Research Project’ via zoom with the lovely Nikki from HCPA. Nikki has been to the home pre Covid for sessions of chair-based exercise.

This was our first week and it was all about Europe, it was great residents really enjoyed the quizzes, the facts and information given, and they were able to share their stories and knowledge.

We have 5 weeks left of the course; we are also going to be relating other activities to each week’s continent so we’re going to be exploring lots of cultures in many ways!
