The Orchard Walkathon

Throughout February, The Orchard started their sponsored walk a thon to raise money for a charity close to many of our hearts ‘The Purple Dementia Awareness Campaign’. Staff, residents and relatives planned to walk half a marathon – 13 miles which totals 196 times around the home.

Unfortunately storm Dudley and storm Eunice got in the way of reaching this target in Feb, but everyone is determined to carry on until the goal has been reached – check back here soon for a completion date and in the meantime, please do continue to sponsor us here, every penny counts, thank you to those that have donated so far.
