The Pines residents create popular Cake Pops

5th December 2014

The residents of The Pines in Putney had a go at creating ‘Cake Pops’ this week as created their versions of ‘cake pops’ during an fun-filled baking session. Cake Pops are a form of cake styled as a lollipop and are the latest trend in dessert culture. Whilst most of the residents had never heard of Cake Pops before they really enjoyed making them. The last stage of the process, which involved attaching the cakes on sticks and decorating them, proved a challenge, but everyone had a lot of fun perfecting their creations. Located in vibrant Putney, The Pines provides residential and nursing care for up to 43 elderly residents.
