Some of our residents from The Pines in Wandsworth, enjoyed a day out at one of our local pubs, enjoying some chats, socialising with the locals and chatting with each other.
Seeing new sights, sounds and experiences and being involved with the local community is important for everyone. Days out can often bring back happy memories of childhood and provide them with a new lease of life.
As a care home it is important to our residents that they continue with the lifestyle they enjoed before they joined us. Our highly skilled carers take the time to get to know all of our residents, learning their personal history, preferences, routines, hobbies and interests. Knowing their stories is as important to us as it is to them; helping us shape each person’s care plan and allowing them to enjoy the experience of living with us.
