Trick or Treat Event at The Orchard was a Spooky Success!
The residents and team at The Orchard Care Home hosted a Trick or Treat Event within their haunted house for the children in the community. Our staff members donned Halloween themed outfits and the front of the home was made into a haunted house!
Our team started the event with our residents gathered together to enjoy some Halloween treats before they manned our ‘haunted house’ to greet the local children as they came round trick or treating during the course of the evening.
Everyone involved had a wonderful time and enjoyed interacting with our local community. Our team really enjoy organising these types of events for our residents and welcome the inclusion of the local community. It is important that residents can socialise and feel engaged and events like this is a key factor of the care given at The Orchard.
