Trip out and gardening at Blenheim Court
Even though the weather has been unpredictable lately this did not stop the Home Manager and a couple of residents at Blenheim Court Care Home from taking a trip to the local garden centre.
They were on a mission to find some lovely plants and flowers for the garden at the home and it looks as though it was a successful trip. Back at the home the team have also started putting together a greenhouse in the garden so that the residents can grow a range of plants over the coming months.
Growing flowers, fruit and vegetables is something that many people will have enjoyed over the years and for our residents this gives them an opportunity to exercise their green fingers. It also helps them to maintain independence and is perfect for getting some fresh air while sharing stimulating conversations with other residents while they work together.
