Two MHKs visit Castle View
The MHK for Peel, Ray Harmer, and the MHK for Glenfaba, Geoffrey Boot, visited Castle View care home in Peel on the Isle of Man. The visit took place on Monday 16 November to meet with the Home Manager, care team and residents. Ray Harmer received a tour of the home and also spent time talking to the care home’s residents and staff.
Julie Mason, Senior Operations Director at Caring Homes, said “We are extremely pleased to welcome the Honourable Ray Harmer and the Honourable Geoffrey Boot to Castle View. We appreciate that getting involved in the local community and staying in touch is as important to our residents as it is to Mr Harmer and Mr Boot - our residents have enjoyed meeting them today, providing a tour of our home and sharing enjoyable conversations with them.”
Set in secure landscaped grounds with stunning views over the hills and down to the sea, Castle View is located on the outskirts of Peel and is a specialist care centre for those suffering with dementia.
Castle View has been designed and built to the highest specification and also offers the very latest in nursing care facilities, providing residents with every amenity in a warm and caring environment.
Castle View is part of the Caring Homes Group, which was established in 1994 by Helena and Paul Jeffery. Since then, the company has grown to become one of the most highly respected independent care and support providers in the UK, and remains family run.
