Vaccinations at Benson House
At Caring Homes we see the rollout of the Covid-19 vaccines as essential in the fight against the virus and are encouraging all our colleagues and residents to have the vaccine when it is made available to them unless there is a medical reason why they should not.
The team at Benson House Care Home who are looking forward to welcoming their first residents into the home this month have had their first dose of the vaccine. They are proud to have received the vaccine and see it as the way to ensure the safety of the team and also for the new residents that will be joining them.
Our teams and our residents were some of the first in the queue to receive the vaccine and have all been told about the process and given the opportunity to discuss any reservations they may have.
Clinical Director Frank Cummins said, “The vaccination is one of the main tools in our fight to stop a pandemic which has had such a devastating and disastrous effect on the entire world."
“It protects the individual and those around them so it is vital as many people as possible take up the offer.”
