Vaccinations at Homefield Grange

23rd March 2021

At Homefield Grange Care Home the residents and team have now received their second dose of the vaccine, with everyone seeing it as a way to protect themselves and others. Everyone at the home is looking forward (hopefully not too far in the distant future) to organising days out and where families, residents and the team can come together again at the home, when government restrictions allow.

At Caring Homes we see the rollout of the Covid-19 vaccines as essential in the fight against the virus and are encouraging all our colleagues and residents to have the vaccine when it is made available to them unless there is a medical reason why they should not.

Clinical Director Frank Cummins said, “The vaccination is one of the main tools in our fight to stop a pandemic which has had such a devastating and disastrous effect on the entire world.

“It protects the individual and those around them so it is vital as many people as possible take up the offer.”
