Valentines Day at Broadbridge Park
The residents at Broadbridge Park Care Home had a fun filled Valentines Day filled with hearts, cookies, cakes, bunting and Sherry. To mark the special occasion the residents decorated the home with various decorations including hearts and bunting which they made together during some arts and crafts time. Activity-based care is a key ingredient for our residents to feel engaged and helps socialisation within the home, which is why craft sessions like these are so popular with our residents and it gives them a chance to show off their creative side.
After the decorations were in place the baking club got busy making heart shaped cookies for all to enjoy, the delicious cookies went down a treat and as it was a special day some residents enjoyed their cookies with a lovely Sherry - cheers!
