Vito celebrates turning 90 at The Orchard

In February one of our amazing residents Vito celebrated his 90th Birthday. He was spoilt with an abundance of cards, presents and of course one of our Chefs famous Birthday cakes.
We make a fuss of every birthday at The Orchard Nursing Home in St Albans. Vito received many cards and gifts from family members and had a video call with his family too . He spent the day in the lounge area with the other residents in his favourite spot which was decorated with banners and balloons.
Staff and residents sang him a happy birthday with his cake. Vito was also lucky enough to have a visit from his wife in the visiting pod in the garden on his birthday too
