Welcoming Conrad, our Customer Relations Manager at Tarring Manor Care Home!
We are pleased to introduce Conrad Bool, who has joined us as the Customer Relations Manager at Tarring Manor Care Home, set to open in the summer of 2023. With an impressive background in the care industry, Conrad brings a wealth of experience and expertise to our team, and we are excited to have him on board.
Conrad has had a diverse career journey, having previously owned his own advertising and publishing business. However, his passion for making a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors led him to the care industry. As a dedicated advocate for dementia care, Conrad was actively involved in the Dementia Friends and Alzheimer's Organisation, which eventually paved the way for his transition to a career in care.
Having entered the care industry in 2014 after a successful media career, Conrad has held various roles as a Customer Relations Manager at other providers. He has also served as a Regional and Area CRM, overseeing multiple homes, highlighting his experience and expertise in the field.
When asked about his favourite aspects of working in the care industry, Conrad expressed his love for building rapport and relationships with families. Recognising the invaluable role that care homes play in helping families make the right care choices for their loved ones, Conrad provides honest and heartfelt advice, ensuring that families feel supported throughout the entire process.
To stay relevant and effective in his work, Conrad keeps himself updated with the latest trends and developments in the care industry through extensive reading and research. He also focuses on understanding funding options and ways families can assist with the costs of care, always striving to find the best care solutions for families and their loved ones.
As a strong advocate for quality care, Conrad believes that Tarring Manor, will provide a unique, loving, and nurturing environment for residents to thrive in later life.
In addition to their work, Conrad has a passion for sports, particularly skiing and rugby. He has a rich background in rugby, having played at a professional level in Harlequins, Rosslyn Park, and even in New Zealand where he represented Auckland and played for Grammar. He also enjoys supporting West Ham and has a vast collection of soul and jazz records, reflecting his diverse interests outside of work.
