Whittington House Celebrate Platinum Jubilee
Residents and the team at Whittington House Care Home celebrated the Platinum Jubilee by having a party. The home was decorated for the occasion with homemade bunting hanging up around the home and banners and flags in honour of Her Majesty.
Everyone had a great time watching performers who had come into the home especially for our residents. We also had a delicious themed buffet for all the residents and staff, prepared by our wonderful catering team.
Earlier this year Her Majesty The Queen became the first British Monarch to celebrate a Platinum Jubilee. This marked her 70 years of service to the people of the United Kingdom, the Realms and the Commonwealth.
