Whittington House enjoy Coffee, Cake and Chatter for Macmillan

Here at Whittington House in Cheltenham, we hosted a World’s Biggest Coffee Morning on Thursday 28^th September and are delighted to announce we raised the fantastic amount of £81.00 to help Macmillan make sure no one has to face cancer alone!The Whittington House chef baked some fabulous cakes along with lots of delicious cakes kindly baked and brought in by relatives and members of our team, which everyone enjoyed with lots of tea, coffee, chatter and laughter.The event was really successful with lots of friends and families attending and donating cakes, and the home also welcomed in a number of visitors from the local community.Home manager Lyndsey Dixon said “What a wonderful morning it has been inviting guests, new and old, into our home all in aid of a good cause.“These days are great for the residents at Whittington House as it brings them together with friends, family and the local community providing them with a sense of belonging.
