Arts and Crafts at The Pines
Residents at The Pines Nursing Home in Wandsworth have been enjoying a regular arts and crafts session.
The group come together for projects to decorate our home, anything from creating Easter and Christmas decorations to painting their favourite topic.
Arts and crafts and other creative projects that we do at The Pines can help alleviate boredom and keep residents minds busy, as well as improve hand-eye coordination, cognitive abilities, and concentration. We find that it also helps residents come together and talk, building on the relationships they have with each other in the home.
The Pines in Wandsworth, London is situated in a beautiful period property and provides an oasis of tranquility in vibrant Putney, providing residential and nursing care for up to 43 elderly residents.
