Caring Homes topping out ceremony at Benson House
The final tiles have been secured on the roof of our new luxury care home in the Oxfordshire village of Benson as part of a traditional topping out ceremony to mark the latest milestone at the development.
Caring Homes is delighted to announce our purpose-built care and nursing home Benson House, which is due to open in September 2020.
Benson House will be luxurious and beautifully furnished whilst retaining a warm family atmosphere, with highly trained staff available to get to know residents individually offering the highest standards of residential, nursing and dementia care for up to 70 older people.
Benson House will offer first class facilities and accommodation, allowing residents to feel welcome, relaxed and secure whilst also enjoying an active and independent lifestyle. The home will feature bright and spacious communal areas including a cinema, hair salon, bistro, a restaurant with private dining facilities and several cosy lounges and quiet rooms.
The home is situated opposite the River Thames where there is a luxury café available for enjoying the river views popular with visitors to the village. RAF Benson is only three miles away and is a big part of the community housing a range of helicopters including Pumas and Chinooks.
The final roof tile at Benson House was fitted by Tracey Fletcher-Ray, Managing Director for Caring Homes, Alison Curd, Special Projects Manager, and Kevin Coleman, Construction Manager for Caring Homes, along with architect John Bell and Dalton Homes site manager David Tooley and Commercial Director Phil Warren.
Tracey Fletcher Ray said: “It is very exciting for everyone involved that we have reached this milestone at Benson House. We will now all be working hard to get the home fitted out inside and recruit staff ready to welcome our first residents next year.”
Benson House is part of Caring Homes which is celebrating 25 years in the care home industry in 2019 after starting out with one care home in 1994. Benson House will provide the highest standards of care for all residents while promoting independence and person-centred care.
